1st Palestrina International Music Festival & Competition

We are celebrating the 500th anniversary of the birth of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina (1525-1594), one of the most influential composers of the Renaissance and a true master of choral music.

Palestrina’s works have stood the test of time, moving generations with their beauty and emotional depth. This event, supported by the Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina Foundation, honors his lasting legacy with a special celebration of choral music at the Palestrina International Choral Music Festival & Competition.

We regret to inform you that, due to low attendance, the festival has been cancelled. We understand the expectations created and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope to organize the event again next year with a larger participation and to meet the interests of our community. Thank you for your understanding.
